Borgo Di Tragliata is a stunning Rustic haven & will be like a little mini village full of our nearest and dearest for the 3 days. There is not a shop on site or within walking distance so if you want to pick up a few bits for the room or cigarettes, I would recommend to do beforehand.

How do I get to Borgo Di Tragliata
WE CAN ORGANISE THE TRANSFERS. The more people on the tranfer together the cheaper it works out for you. You can fly into either of Rome's main airports Fiumincino - Leonardo di Vinci ( 30 mins to venue) or Ciampino (40 mins) From there our venue will help us arrange transfers to the venue in advance. Please let us know your flight details via our website rsvp or contact us directly. We will work with the venue to get you sorted! The transfer will cost about approx €20 per head depending on the vehicle, but I can give you more accurate information if you require it. Of course if you are going over a few days early to see some of Rome you are free to make your own way or keep us updated and we can speak to the venue about organising a transfer for you.
Can we book transfers in advance for departure Borgo
Yes, this is important to do in advance because it will be very busy as many guests will be requiring transfers on the Thursday around the same time. These transfers would need to be booked well in advance. Please let us know your flight details. If you are continuing your holiday in Italy let us know and we can arrange transfers to Rome city centre instead of the Airports. Again, these transfers will be approx €20 per person.
How do I book a room
We selected our beautiful venue as we wanted all our guests together and to accommodate all our guests. You do NOT need to contact the venue directly. All you need to do is let us know via the website RSVP your intention to join us and how many of 3 nights you intend to stay with us in Borgo. We will do the rest! You can pay the venue for the room upon arrival (€70 per head per night sharing)
How early can I arrive at the venue on Monday
If you're on an early morning flight your transfer will likely get you to the venue before lunch. If your rooms are not ready yet (normal check-in is 3pm) you can relax in the Bar Favole near reception, grab lunch or a couple drinks or even go for a dip in the pool while you wait to check in! Early check-in might be possible if your room becomes available sooner!
Can we use both pools
The main pool (the one at the back of the main garden) is free to use at all times but the Massello pool (up near the wedding reception building) is limited if there is an event being hosted there that is not our wedding. I will know this closer the time and keep everyone informed.
What can we do in our free time
Stroll the venue or brave the 5km running track to clear the head. You could simply enjoy a dip in the pool and if it is nice enough just relax listen to the birds and sunbathe.
Or my personal favourite just fill your belly. Borgo di Tragliata serves traditional dishes made with ingredients produced on site from their farm and gardens. It is organic at its finest. Just remember to keep room for your evening meals on us.
If you do fancy day trip into Rome the venue can organise a transfer for you, but be mindful it is just under an hour away from the city itself.
Where can we eat
We have you covered for dinner all three nights of your stay. Breakfast is also included in your room rate and is served every morning from 7:30am -10:30am. A little later the morning after the wedding for the sore heads and will served until 11:30am. After this Bar Favole offers a lunch menu & serves until approx. 4pm if your peckish
Can I bring my child/children
In short No. We have decided to limit the wedding to adults only. We will have our two children there and our siblings children but that is it. As much as we would love to have everyone there unfortunately we don’t have the capacity. We know this can make things a little tricky for some of you but we hope you understand and can still join us.
SMOKERS
They DO NOT SELL cigarettes on site. Please ensure you have bought them prior to coming to venue if you require them.
Also to mention please ensure you do not throw any butts on the ground.
Is there anywhere I can get my hair and makeup done for the day of wedding
Yes this can be booked.
If you can let me know as soon as possible, this can be arranged with contacts that the hotel know, but please be mindful that due to the amount of guest notice is key. Also to note I have never personally used their services.
Is there an ATM onsight
No there is no ATM in venue or within walking distance, however they do accept credit/debit cards. You can pay for food and drinks as you go using cash or card or alternatively you can put it on your room (you must show your room key) and pay at check out.
Also to mention you will need cash if you decide to get taxi's or have hair/makeup done as most do not accept card.
THINGS TO BRING OR BE AWARE OF:
- Toiletries - Borgo Strives to lower its carbon footprint and reduce its waste output, so for this reason there are not provided aside from handsoap and shower gel dispensers. We would advise you to therefore bring your own Shampoo/ Conditioner etc .
- Water bottles: Borgo do not purchase and sell water in plastic bottles, instead they use aqueduct purified water which you can access in the Favole Bar. Please either bring your own bottle for 1 Euro refill, purchase water as you go for 2 Euro or alternatively you can purchase a reusable bottle from Borgo for 15 Euro and refill using that.

Just to mention, Borgo does ask for payment as you order for both food and drink. This was just something we wanted our guests to be aware of. When we questioned the staff they explained this was due to the variety of seating area and freedom for guests to move around so therefore payment would have no complications and confusion for staff.
