Johnny and I met way back in 2017 on the first day of freshmen orientation at UMary! We instantly became best friends and spent a ton of time together, studying, having Mario cart tournaments and enjoying each other company! slowly we fell in love and new we were meant to be together.

In 2019 we both decided it would be best if we transferred out and Laura went to UND and Johnny to NDSU, though he would also transfer to UND shortly after. (its the superior school). In August 2022 Johnny proposed at the Denver Botanical gardens, at the top of the tropical house. ( house plants are Laura's second love so he chose well) and the rest is history!
