The Coors Brewery in Golden, Colorado is the largest single brewing facility operating in the world. In our opinion, Coors brews the best beer in the world! Laura's Dad (Bob) worked there for more than 45 years as a research scientist. Check out the Coors' website for summer tour hours!

Red Rocks is an open-air amphitheater. The venue is recognized by two massive monoliths, named Ship Rock and Creation Rock, and a smaller monolith named Stage Rock. These monoliths are what create the natural amphitheatre.

Buffalo Bill Cody is an Old West icon. This museum is located on top of Lookout Mountain and covers all aspects of his life from his days on The Pony Express to his world wide Wild West shows.

There are numerous trails in and around Golden. Bikes can be rented from several of the bike shops in Golden. Most of the shops can provide trail maps as well.

The Aquarium has more than a million gallons of underwater exhibits highlighting ecosystems from around the world. The Aquarium houses over 500 species of animals and an interactive stingray reef touch tank. And, Yes, they have Mermaids - just ask Laura!
