In March of 2022, Mitch and Laura were planning a trip to New York with his mom and sister during Laura's Spring Break. Little did she know that was not what was going to happen.

The day of their departure, Mitch instructed Laura to remember her passport. Confused, Laura reminded him you don't need a passport for domestic travel, which is when he unveiled to her, they were NOT traveling New York.

They proceeded to the airport, where it was revealed they were actually traveling to Paris for a few days which would be followed by another few days in London.

On the Third day of their trip. They visited the Eiffel Tower (fun fact: even though this was Laura's third trip to Paris, she had never successfully gone up the Eiffel Tower due to ticket availability). They got to the top of the tower, watched the sunset over the city, at which time Mitch took out... a macaron box, and inside that box... was another box.... and you can figure out the rest. He proceeded to ask Laura to marry him (or rather he asked her "would you like to be my buddy forever"). She of course said yes!

The newly engaged couple continued their trip visiting the Palace of Versailles, and seeing a number of West End Shows upon their arrival in London.

Yes, there were clear clues that hinted where the trip was going, but Laura maintains that she had no idea, and it was the proposal of her dreams.
