The story begins....

Zach and Laura met in 2011; their freshman year of college at Northern State University. (Go Wolves!) They immediately became friends.

The first date was in 2014 when Zach invited Laura over for breakfast. He asked her how she liked her eggs, and she answered 'scrambled.' Zach very quickly back tracked, and replied he only 'knew how to make fried eggs.' So fried eggs it was. (Zach did eventually learn to make scrambled eggs).

The two stayed close friends throughout the years as Laura went to law school and Zach started his job at Christianson PLLP.

Their love begins...

Finally, in July of 2020, Zach convinced Laura they should date long distance while Laura was living in Rapid City, South Dakota and Zach in Raymond, Minnesota.

After hundreds of miles and countless hours on I-90, Zach made the move to Rapid City, South Dakota in September of 2021. He continues to work remotely for Christianson and Laura works in Rapid City at Bangs McCullen Law Firm.

... and the two shall become one...

On December 28, 2021, Zach asked Laura to be his wife, on a random Tuesday after co-ed volleyball. Laura is difficult to surprise, but Zach managed to completely surprise her.

We are so excited to celebrate our special day with so many family and friends!
