Kyle and Laura met through a mutual friend while both living in Wilmington, DE. Kyle, Laura, and Lydia were all quickly attached to each other which has led to an adventurous 6 years and a beautiful home together.

On Christmas eve 2020, Kyle suggested a morning walk at Valley Garden Park. Laura, Kyle, and Lydia were walking in the woods when Kyle asked Laura to sit to take a picture with Lydia. After the picture was taken, Kyle got down on one knee and proposed. They were happy to call Laura's parents with the news and surprise Kyle's family that night at dinner.

Kyle and Laura picked out the ring together prior to the engagement. The diamond comes from Laura's mothers ring which was purchased by her dad in Pennsylvania over 30 years ago. Kyle picked the beautiful setting and they got to watch the diamond placement into the setting by the local jeweler.
