The Omaha Farmers Market is located in the Old Market and takes place Saturday mornings from 8am to 12:30pm. It features produce, herbs, plants, fresh-cut flowers, meats, baked goods, cheese, eggs, prepared foods, crafts, and an assortment of food trucks.

If you are looking to take a walk or have kids who want to get out and play, head over to the Gene Leahy Mall at the Riverfront. There are multiple playgrounds, great walking trails, an outside roller rink (they have skates for rent), and awesome views of the Missouri River.

If you are coming to Omaha early, check out Late Nights at the Zoo on Thursday evening. The zoo reopens at 7:00pm for guests 21 years or older. Entry tickets and drink tickets can be bought at the door or in advance on the zoo's website.

Regular zoo hours are from 9:00am-5:00pm and tickets can also be bought at the door or in advance on the zoo's website.

Kiewit Luminarium is a science museum that recently opened in 2023. It is open every day from 10:00am to 5:00pm (except it is closed on Tuesdays). Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance on their website.

The beautiful Lauritzen Gardens are open every day from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Anyone wanting to visit is encouraged to by their tickets in advance online. They also have tram tours and private golf cart tours that can be scheduled on their website.

Coneflower Creamery is a fun ice cream shop located in Millwork Commons (within walking distance of the hotels on our website) and was voted the #1 Ice Cream Shop in America on YELP.
