Well... Our story is almost the story of "the one who got away." It all started on a normal Friday night in August of 2011. Laura was out celebrating and saying good-byes to her friends as she was moving to South Dakota the next morning for her freshman year of college.

Laura was coming out of the bathroom and made eye contact with Billy, not knowing who each other were it was an awkward stare down. In true Laura fashion, she whipped around and went over to talk to him. The two of us hit it off and we both left thinking see ya never! ;)

About two weeks later, Laura had came home from college for a friends birthday and ended up sober driving Billy and their mutual friend. A Facebook friend request was sent by one of us, which turned into a phone number, and then Snapchat friends. We'd go about 2 or 3 weeks talking constantly and every... single... time... Laura would ghost Billy for about three months.

Well this fun game of ours carried on for 11ish years, until 2019 when Laura's friend had asked if Billy was single. (Laura almost devastated Billy had not made a move on her yet, as she has had a huge crush on Billy for ever!) Again, in true Laura fashion she took it upon herself to text Billy and ask him. Fast forward about two months, Billy was getting rather confused as Laura had not ghosted him yet. The two of us were texting and snap chatting from the time we woke up till we went to bed. Laura had gotten in a farming accident (everyone is okay, besides Laura's pride, the wagon, and Jerry's corn that was spread throughout the road, attracting deer away from Jerry's deer stand), Laura had called Billy and asked for some equipment. A few days later Laura wrecked her car and the 2nd person she called was Billy, after calling Geri, of course (IYKYK ;) ). Laura went on a work trip with her parents, came home to a house with no groceries, so she decided it would be best to text Billy, just to let him know she has no food and is hungry, he offered to take her out for dinner and she politely declined, but then Laura decided it would only be in the best interest of both of them to show up at the bar Billy was at.

No fingers to be pointed, but someone made the first move and kissed the other person outside of said bar...

Three years later, Billy got down on one knee and after several return questions to Billy, Laura finally said YES! And yes, Billy is finally over his fear of Laura ghosting him..... AGAIN!!
