We went to the same high school, but even though we shared some mutual friends, we never really got to know each other. That changed one weekend when Mike was visiting friends in Mankato, where Laura was attending college. Thanks to a little matchmaking from our friends (shout out Courtney and Nate Molitor!), we started talking and we haven’t stopped since. We officially started dating in June 2019.

Laura began her career as a nurse, while Mike pursued his in the trucking industry. In January 2021, we welcomed our goldendoodle, Peach, into our lives. Laura’s nursing career eventually took us on an adventure with travel nursing, allowing us to live in South Carolina and Arizona for a brief period.

Now, we’re back in Minnesota, living in Apple Valley, where we’ve bought and renovated our first home. Mike is still working in the trucking industry and Laura is a NICU nurse. Mike proposed in Banff, Alberta, Canada over our 5 year dating anniversary. We couldn’t be more excited to start this next chapter of our journey as husband and wife!
