What Should I Wear?
The dress code is cocktail attire. For men, we suggest a suit, blazer, or button down with pants, with the option to wear a tie. For women, a midi-length dress, jumpsuit, or dressy separates would all work. Please keep in mind the ceremony and reception will take place in a outdoor grassy area. Ultimately, we want you to be comfortable on the day of!

Where Should I Stay?
Our travel tab lists a variety of options for Airbnbs and VRBOs, on the eastern side of Lake Lure, near where we will be staying in Sunset Cove. There are also a couple of hotel options linked in the travel tab.
What about Hurricane Helene?
Thankfully our venue and all our vendors were spared during Hurricane Helene this past fall. Our hearts break for all of those impacted by Hurricane Helene, and we are committed to supporting WNC as they recover. We ask that while you visit the area to remain mindful of the recovery efforts in and around Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. We encourage you during your time throughout the weekend to support the smaller businesses getting back on their feet. And be aware of potential delays and road closures especially in Chimney Rock and on the western side of Lake Lure.
Can I bring a guest?
Although we would love to offer a plus one to all guests, we have a strict guest list to meet our venue's restrictions. Your invitation is addressed to those who are invited. If it includes a guest by name, then yes! If not, we prefer to just have you attend.
What if I can't make it?
You will be missed, but we completely understand. Please RSVP “no” as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
Can I bring my kids?
We welcome your little ones! We just ask that you keep a close eye on them throughout the day.
When and where can I RSVP?
Please RSVP on our website by 4/05/2025. You are welcome to RSVP before this date!
I can't attend all the events - Is that okay?
Of course! Come to the events you are able to – just don’t forget to RSVP “no” to events you won’t be attending.
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is plenty of parking on site. When you pull into the driveway you'll be directed to your parking space. Once parked you'll walk down the driveway to reach the Ceremony space in the backyard of the property.
Can I take photos?
We have hired a professional photographer to capture our special day and ask that you do not use your cell phones during the ceremony, so that you can remain present with us. We want to see your beautiful faces rather than your screens. :) However, you are more than welcome to take photos and videos of the rest of the night!
Can I smoke on the property?
The venue is a smoke free property, due to the woodsy nature of the venue. Remember Smokey the Bear, "only you can prevent forest fires".
Do you have a Registry?
Your presence at our wedding is the best present of all. While gifts are not expected, we have registered for a few items, which you can find this linked in our Registry tab.
