Laura and Matt met the night before Thanksgiving in 2019 at R.J. Daniel's bar in Rockville Centre, NY. As most 22-year-olds do, they ended the night at the Massapequa Diner. Matt and Laura took an Uber home together, stopping at Laura's house, and he ran home (which Laura's mom, Alice, witnessed!).

This is how Laura learned that Matt had lived down the block from her his whole life, went to the same elementary-high school, yet their paths never crossed. Laura was actually Matt's 5th grade crush!

About a month went by and they reconnected at Tim's New Years Eve party in the Hamptons. They shared a New Year's kiss, and went on their first date 3 days later. 4 days after that, they were officially dating. In 2022, they moved into their first "shoebox" apartment in Rockville Centre.

Matt asked Laura to marry him on September 23, 2023 at Bayfront Park in Massapequa, NY where they kissed on the pier for their first date, went on countless COVID bike rides, and most importantly, where Laura's dad, Tito, has a memorial bench overlooking the Great South Bay. They shared a toast at Laura's childhood home with both of their families, and shortly after headed to the Tap Room in Rockville Centre for a celebration with friends. The night ended at R.J. Daniel's where it all began!

Their wedding will be held at Peconic Bay Yacht Club on April 26th, 2025 and they are overjoyed to be celebrating with you!
