FLIGHT INFO:- Delta and American fly into Georgetown. The airport code is GGT- Delta connects through Atlanta and American connects through Miami. _______________________________________________________ • Respectfully asking for Adults Only• Ceremony attire: Beachy Formal/Cocktail___________________________________________________ Other Info: •Things have finally changed and you do not have to obtain a health visa or a negative covid test to enter the Bahamas!!! woo!!!! • Things have recently changed for the US as well. As of now we do not have to take a COVID test to get back into the US. Hallelujah!!!! BUT if things change there is a testing center on the resort so it is EASY PEASY!! __________________________________________________________ Grand Isle Resort is great with communication and sends you all the info (VIA email) that you need prior to check in. A few notes I wanted to add: •Exuma Transit is great for scheduling airport pick up ahead of time. But there are unlimited taxis outside the airport when you land. There is only a few flights that come in each day so they know. •Book excursions through Exuma Watersports! #1 recommended and you can book on their website ahead of time. It also close to the resort. •Grocery delivery - The resort will send you an email 4-5 days before you check in titled "Gear up fo your Great Exuma getaway." On this email will be loads of information, One of those being grocery delivery. There is a form they send you and that you fill out 72 hours before your arrival IF you would like grocery delivery. Grocery selection on the island is small so it will be basic things. • On the way to the resort ( an 8 minute drive from the airport to the resort ) ask your driver to stop at the liquor and grocery store. Very slim pickings but buy basic things like coffee, eggs, milk, bread, water, wine, beer, wine, etc. • The resort has an outdoor restaurant called Palapa Grill that is by 1 of their pools ( with towel service so do not feel the need to bring towels). This restaurant serves Breakfast, Lunch and Early dinner. They close at 8. The other restaurant on site is The Grill House at 23° North ( where the other pool is that is open all day). It only serves dinner and you can make a reservation by going to their website ( and clicking dining&gt;thegrillhouse ) or call the front desk and they will happily do it for you! • Their website is full of info and the emails leading up to your trip will help you as well! We can't wait to celebrate with you!! ___________________________________________________

Travel and INFO 

At Grand Isle Resort there are plenty of things to do!• Golf• Spa• kayak and paddle board• There are two pools as well All of the above can be planned via the reception desk at Grand Isle Resort. The kayak, paddle boards, and other water activities are by the chairs on the beach that are set out each day and are free to use anytime of the day! OFF SITE there are things like:• Fishing excursions•&nbsp;Diving excursions• Excursions to see the Pigs, Sting rays, and even Sharks!CALL EXUMA WATERSPORTS TO BOOK. 242-357-0770 Also the front desk has plenty of brochures with tons of different companies to book with. If you want to venture away from the resort, Georgetown is about a 30 minute drive and is also fun to explore! Stocking Island is right off of George Town and is a fun little island to go to for a few hours! You take a quick water taxi that is usually $12 a person. They have a restaurant called Chat n Chill, volleyball, corn hole, and sting rays that greet you when you pull up!
