Laura and Dave met in their Rotary Club, Camelback Crossroads. They both had been introduced to Rotary by their dad's and each enjoyed being a part of something that helped them give back.

They were in the club together for almost a year before they noticed each other. Once Laura noticed Dave she was totally smitten. When the club attended a spring training training game as a social event, the perfect opportunity presented itself to have some one on one time with Dave and Laura jumped at the chance! Basically demanding that he share the blanket she was sitting on. They spent the whole time talking. Later on they discovered they had both taken the group photo from that day, cropped it to just the two of them and shared it with friends to show them their crush.

Afterwards, they added each other on Facebook. Dave got the conversation rolling and Laura was super excited to hear from him. Although, as soon as she hit send on her response she realized that she didn't ask anything to keep the conversation going! Luckily, Dave was brave enough to follow up and ask Laura if she liked hiking. Of course she said yes and they planned a hiking trip.

The weekend of the hiking adventure, they kept finding other reasons to get together all weekend long. Laura smiled and laughed so much that her cheeks hurt afterwards.

And that was just the beginning. They have been smiling, laughing and going on adventures together ever since.
