Greg and Laura met like all the cool kids do, on a dating app. For their first official date they met at San Marcos in Smithfield. A few dates later the couple learned the timing wasn't right..

Let's try this again. When the couple found each other still single they decided to venture out again and give it another shot. This time at Sushi Iwa in Clayton on one of the coldest nights in January! There was something special about that second first date. The only downside was Greg unknowingly was about to test positive for Covid which made for their first month of dating a battle of dodging germs. Laura got Covid too, oops! Once everyone was healthy Greg and Laura began their journey of dating. They both loved going to the coast on the weekends and hanging out with friends and family. Over the next year the couples love really began to grow and after one year of dating the couple said those three special words, I love you. From that point on the vision they had for their life together began to grow. On September 9th, 2023 Greg made the move to get down on one knee and propose to Laura. Of course she said yes! And the wedding planning began!
