Sergio and Laura met in high school, but became friends until years later. It’s not your typical love story, but it was worth the wait. Laura was finishing nursing school when she messaged Sergio about potential jobs at Kaiser. Their love blossomed quickly, and the rest is history. Since they became a couple they’ve traveled to many places where they’ve created beautiful memories and have made their dreams come true. They made a commitment with each other, purchased a house that they turned into a home. Sergio knew what was next. Early on in their relationship he knew she was the one. He fell in love with how kind, smart, and caring she is. Sergio knew his future was with her, so he planned a romantic getaway to the Cayman Islands, where he made the most memorable proposal. On September 9, 2022 a few days after her birthday he got on one knee and asked her to marry him, and the reason why we are all here is, she said “YES.” We welcome everyone to join Laura and Sergio to celebrate their love and witness their lifelong commitment to one another. “Lovers don’t meet somewhere along the way.
