On a lonely COVID night, Ryan and I met in the most organic way….. a dating app. Bumble! We hadn’t gone on dates with anyone else yet. I messaged him and we talked for a few days. I immediately thought he was so cute, had nice pictures with family and friends, and seemed to have a good sense of humor. After a couple days, I asked him out (YES you read that right) and we went to get dinner and drinks. I was SO glad he was who he said he was, and not a creepy old man pretending to be him on the internet! After meeting Ryan, I knew that he was something special and couldn’t wait to see him again.

We enjoyed getting to know each other during COVID when most of the world was shut down. As time went by, and more things opened up, we traveled to different cities, states, countries. We moved in together, learned A LOT about communicating with each other, and learned to love and appreciate every part of each other. I am so thankful that we continue challenge each other to grow every day.

Then came Hawaii this past summer, where he scheduled with my family to propose and the rest is history!
