Our Wedding

Noah and Laura originally met in Mrs. Bromhead’s 4th grade class at Windermere Elementary School. Being shy and quiet, Laura disliked Noah at first, thinking he was too loud and rowdy. Neither knew that this was just the first of many times their paths would cross. Fast forward 5 years and Laura and Noah found themselves attending Olympia High School, enrolled as freshmen in the same 7th-period World History class. Noah quickly took the role of confident class clown and Laura the role of quiet listener. Sometime into the year, Noah realizes that he recognizes Laura, but he couldn’t remember how, so he decides to go up and ask her. Unfortunately, Laura had yet to grow out of her shy nature, becoming flustered when approached by the cute boy talking to her. She proceeded to give short, embarrassed responses, denying any memory of Noah. Thinking he had been shut down, Noah politely left, and neither talked much the remainder of the year. Once again we fast forward, this time 2 years, to Noah and Laura’s junior year of high school. After a flirty exchange on Twitter, the two found themselves talking through a mutual friend. In early March, the friend arranged a group outing to a local mall where Laura and Noah truly got to talk one-on-one for the first time. Both felt a connection and soon found themselves spending more and more time together. On Pi Day, 3.14.15, the couple officially started dating. They developed a strong relationship throughout the years, growing closer as they matured from teens to adults. They graduated from UCF and started finding their way in their careers while supporting one another and helping each other grow. On October 15, 2022, the two became engaged on the sunset beach of Clearwater, Florida. They can’t wait to celebrate their special day surrounded by their friends and family.

Kelly and Laura met in college back in 2019 and currently live together as roommates in FL. Kelly is one of Laura closest friends and is always there when she needs a shoulder to lean on.  Laura sees Kelly has the sister she never had and cherishes their daily back porch chat time.

Laura has known Katie her entire life, meeting her when she was just a baby and Katie a toddler. They grew up spending summers together running around pretending to be horses. No matter how long they are apart, they always pick up right where they left off.

Originally meeting at Kindergarten Meet the Teacher, Laura and Laura Leigh have been a dynamic duo since the beginning. Staying close friends through middle and high school, Laura has been a wonderful ray of constant sunshine in Laura Leigh’s life.

Sister to the groom, Liz met Laura back in 2015. After a lengthy road trip with Liz and her family, Laura found herself considering Liz a good friend. As time past and they grew older,  they found themselves growing closer, especially bonding over their mutual love of American Sign Language. Laura can’t wait for the day she can officially call Liz her sister.

Melissa and Laura became roommates by chance back in 2017. The two quickly bonded over their love of dogs and nature and a friendship formed. Even after they no longer lived together they stay good friends, getting together often to relax and chat over a meal. Melissa continues to be a fun and adventurous friend Laura can always turn to when in need of advice or a boost of energy.
