Per your invitation with your little ones, we ask family members to please be aware that there is a body of water on the grounds and we ask that you please be attentive to your little ones. We do not want any accidents to occur at any time! The grounds of the venue are vast, we politely ask that all children are accompanied by a parent or a love one at all times. Any child over the age of 13, this does not apply too. Lastly, in order to have a memorable day, Daaron and I ask that all technology, that is not a parents cell phone, please be left either in your vehicle or your hotel room. We are politely asking for a tech free wedding! We will be providing activity bags for the little ones that can be used throughout the ceremony and the reception. Thank you for understanding!

Though we love you as much as we love your kiddos, we ask that unless we have included them in your RSVP, we politely ask for you to make arrangements for your children for the evening. We are inviting a limited number of guests, so we have decided to only allow those related to the bride and groom.

Daaron and I have decided on semi-formal attire for our wedding day. Please refrain from wearing anything that can be seen as or mistaken for white (talking about dresses), you will be asked to leave as this is not proper wedding etiquette. A great rule of thumb is: if you have to question it, it’s probably not acceptable. Thank you for understanding and taking the time to read this.

We have chosen to have a dry wedding, meaning that there will not be any alcohol allowed on the premisses at any time during the duration of the evening. We will be providing, a selection of sodas, tea, lemonade, and water. Please DO NOT bring any outside food or beverages & leave them in your vehicle or hotel room. If you are found with any alcohol at any time, you WILL be escorted out by our security detail and WILL NOT be allowed to return.

The ceremony will be held outdoors but the reception is to occur indoors. If the weather changes unexpectedly (summers in Texas, anything can happen) we have an alternative plan in place for both rain and extreme heat.

Due to the location of the bridal cottage, we plan to limit the amount of people who are allowed to enter. This is to lessen the chances of the groom seeing the bride before the ceremony. There will be a list of people permitted into the cottage.

Upon your arrival onto the grounds there will be various signs and personnel helping guide you to the designated parking area. It is a gravel roadway, so please drive respectfully and accordingly.

Since we have hired an excellent photographer and videographer, we ask that you please keep your phone in your pocket during the ceremony, we will be more than happy to share the photos from our photographer when we receive them. For your children, we will be providing activity bags that can be used throughout the evening, so please refrain from having any technology to distract your little ones,

We prefer that all guest abide by the semi-formal attire, this to ensure that there are no confusions between the wedding party and the guests attending.

We ask that only the people who are listed on the invitation to come to the wedding. We are inviting a certain number of guests so in order to stick to that we are only allowing people directly listed on the invitation.

Our venue is a nonsmoking facility indoor or outdoor. We prefer that you refrain from doing so but if you must the only place you will be allowed to is out in the parking lot. PLEASE PICK UP YOUR SMOKING TRASH!

Although we respect your decision to open carry, we ask that all firearms be left either in your hotel rooms. We have hired a security officer to be on site throughout the evening and we do not want to risk any accidents to occur with the number of attendants on sight.
