Laura grew up in Glen Arm, Maryland with her mother Sharon, her father John, her older siblings Julie and Kevin, and two beloved dogs, Roxy and Billi. She spent her time playing field hockey and tennis in school, but mostly enjoyed rewatching her favorite movies/shows and quoting them to her family despite their unfamiliarity.

Nathaniel grew up in Abington, Pennsylvania with his mother Susan, his father Marc, his younger siblings Margaret and Owen, and one beloved dog, Truffle. He spent his time doing marching band in school, playing DnD, and wreaking havoc in his neighborhood.

Laura and Nathaniel met while completing their Master's at Johns Hopkins University in 2019. They were at a Winter gala and happened to sit next to each other at the same table. They got to talking, bonded over movies, and agreed that they should go see Knives Out in theaters together. A good friendship stemmed from there and further blossomed as they had consistent late night phone calls during the peak of the Covid pandemic. They started officially dating in August 2020, took a plunge and moved in together in 2021, and eventually adopted their dog, Tallulah. They continue to love and admire each other every day and embark on new adventures.

They are so excited to celebrate their love in July and grateful to everyone who is able to join them on their big day.
