Our Wedding

Mark and Laura's love story started a long time ago when Britney, Paris, and Lindsey ruled the party scene, Flip Phones were still a thing, and Buffalo Wild Wings was actually good. And like many millennial love stories it started at the mall. Laura was slinging foundation samples at Lancome and Mark was cruising through Macy's on his way to buy his 1000th Lacoste Tee (probably). As fate would have it, Mark happened to walk right past the Lancome counter on his way into the mall and when he saw Laura standing there wearing her ever so stylish Lancome Vest and absolutely unnecessary high heels, he had to stop and introduce himself. Within a short time they found out they had a lot in common from an appreciation of a great Cheeseburger (The Val's vs Diamond Back debate has never quite been resolved - if you haven't had them yet, please try for yourselves and report back) to a passion for live music and good cigars. They had some amazing adventures including many country concerts, a trip to Disneyland, Laura's brief stint in Tuolumne county, and more. But alas the timing just wasn't right. Mark was focusing on his career and growing his business in the East Bay and Laura had ambitions to move to the city and travel the world. However, even over time and distance they always stayed connected. Whether just for a catch-up dinner, a concert adventure, a drop-in to The Redwood Room, or just via Text. Fast Forward ten years where they were about to find the timing to be just right. Mark asks Laura if she's free to go out and she agrees to meet him in the East Bay. They have dinner and drinks and both can't stop smiling. When Laura arrives back to her sister's house and Katie asks how it went (while secretly rooting for Mark) Laura responds "I know this sounds crazy, but it felt like coming home". Which for a nomadic gypsy soul was a brand new feeling. But as they say when you know, you know. 13 years in the making and here they are, more in love than ever and beyond excited to get to do this for the rest of their lives.

This is the host hotel for Milz Wedding Weekend. We have a room block here with discounted rates for our guests. This will also be the hotel where shuttle transportation will pick you up and take you to Cielo farms for the wedding. Additionally, we will be hosting events all weekend long here on property at Westlake Village Inn. Please refer to the website main page and the schedule in your welcome bag for details. (Welcome bags will be waiting for you upon check-in)
