Is there a dresscode?
Yes! It took us a little time to navigate the waters of wedding attire, but we landed on... drumroll please — Formal Wedding Attire.
Think darker suits like navy, charcoal, brugundy or black — with or without a tie or bow.
For anyone planning to dazzle in a dress; go for a floor-length, ankle-length or midi gown, an elegant cocktail dress, a chic pantsuit or a dressy jumpsuit. Colourful outfits and/or flower patterns will be appreciated.
The most important thing is that you feel fabulous, and are ready to celebrate! ❤️
How do I get to the venue?
The venue is accesible via car and has parking spaces just in front of it. If you do not have a car and would like to carpool with someone, please write to lpohl31@gmail.com with the following information:
- how many people?
- where are you staying?
- do you wish to find a ride back as well?
Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place`?
The ceremony will be held outside in the "hidden" garden behind the convent. You simply walk pass the rose garden and follow the signs we will have put up.
The following reception will also be held outside at the garden. Should the weather not allow for this we will move things in to the art gallery.
What language will the ceremony and the celebration be in?
Overall, mainly English, but of course it will be a mixture of all that we are - quite a bit of different austrian dialects, some German, a good portion of Danish, some English and a whole lot of bodylanguage. 🫶
We can recommend Duolingo (free App) if you would like to equip yourself with a few words in either of the languages 😉
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the wedding party, which includes all of you, will be taking pictures and enjoy some light appetizers, music and a selection of drinks for about one and a half to two hours.
When is the RSVP deadline? How do I RSVP?
Please let us know if you are part of our celebration before July 15th.
You can RSVP here at the website or send us a Whatsapp or E-Mail (lpohl31@gmail.com).
Remeber to include any food allergies and if you would like to have the meat or vegetarian option for the main course.
Are contributions like speeches or performances welcome during the celebration?
Absolutely, we would be delighted!
All kinds of "festlige indslag/feierliche Einschläge" are warmly welcome — whether it's a speech, a song, a toast, or a surprise performance.
Feel free to express yourself in whichever language feels most comfortable: English, Danish, or German. We’ll be thrilled either way, and we know the joy will come through no matter the language! ❤
Are kids welcome?
Of course - they will be able to order from the regular kids menu at the restaurant so no need to make a decision about their food choices just yet.
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, we have a closed guest list to stay on budget.
What will the weather be like this time of year?
That is difficult to predict, but we are hoping for a warm and sunny day between 23 - 28 degrees. However, should it be raining, plan B will kick into action and we move the whole thing inside or at least under cover. Keep in mind that the major part of the wedding (dinner and party) will be inside and most likely it will be warm inside the venue.
Where should guests park? Is parking free?
There are two parking spaces, one directly in front of the Gasthof with few spaces, and a second, larger one about 2 minutes below the venue. You will spot it when driving up. Parking is free.
Will dinner be served at the reception?
No, dinner will be served after the reception, inside the Gasthof. However, you will be able to enjoy some appertizers and a variety of drinks during the reception.
Will there be any vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or special diet options?
Yes, please remember to include your dietary wishes with you RSVP.
Am I required to walk a lot during the event?
Ceremony, reception and dinner/party location are only a few minutes from each other and do not require lots of walking. Let us know if you need any form of assistance.
Are there other wedding events I can attend?
Since we are having family and friends travelling to beautiful Tyrol, and for some this will be the first time, we are aspiring to have an outing at one point, so keep an eye on the facebook event for updates https://fb.me/1KU2rdl3BVZ7c7a
Do you have any recommendations for where to eat, points of interest or things to do?
Yes! We recommend visiting the ‘Things to Do’ page of our wedding website, where we’ve compiled all of our favorite activities, like fun things to do in the area, marvelous hikes, and different sights you should not miss out on.
I still have questions. What is the best way to contact you?
You are welcome to write to us on Whatsapp or e-mail but please, DO NOT write to us on our wedding day!
Instead you can reach out to the following people in case of emergency questions on the day:
Maid of honor: Teresa
Man of honor: Sebastian
Best man: Nikolaj
