In middle school, TJ and Laura's story began when they ended up in the same 7th-grade science class.

TJ and Laura found a connection that went beyond science experiments. Laughter became their thing, creating a special bond that went beyond regular friendship.

The big moment happened at a middle school dance on January 20th, 2017. In the dim lights and rhythmic music, TJ asked Laura to be his girlfriend. It was a moment that stuck in time, capturing the essence of their growing love.

Their relationship blossomed and weathered the storms of adolescence as they navigated the intricate tapestry of high school life together. Best friends as much as partners, they became inseparable, sharing dreams, triumphs, and challenges throughout their high school years.

Both TJ and Laura started a new chapter in their lives at Iowa State University. College brought its own set of challenges, and amidst all that, something big happened during winter break on December 19th, 2022. TJ proposed to Laura, taking a knee and sealing their fate with a promise of marriage.

Now, on the brink of a lifelong commitment, TJ and Laura are excited about what marriage will bring. From middle school to high school and now college, their love story continues through faith, promising a narrative filled with enduring love and shared dreams.
