It all began during the height of the pandemic, when Laura moved into an apartment on her own — a move she felt God had orchestrated. She didn’t know that directly across the hall lived a man who would become her greatest blessing.  Leo was that rare kind of man — steady, strong, and protective — the kind who fixed his own cars and somehow always found time to help others. Laura noticed. She’ll tell you he made the first move by leaving leftover spaghetti in front of her door before heading on a trip. Leo, however, insists she was the one pursuing him — especially after she crept around a corner one night to “catch a car thief,” only to realize the suspicious figure was just him.  Then there was the Sunday evening when Leo was relaxing to classical jazz, and Laura banged on his door like a federal agent — to show off the new “plants” she had been given. Somehow, that was the moment their friendship officially took root.  From hallway hellos to long talks, from laughter to late-night prayers, they grew from neighbors into friends, business partners, and eventually best friends — until one day, they realized they might be each other’s forever.  Their story has been a mix of humor, a work towards holiness, picnics at the park with their dogs, sunrise walks by the ocean, spontaneous road trips to Texas, and discovering the best hidden restaurants in Los Angeles. Through it all, Leo stood by Laura during one of her toughest seasons — a time when she felt isolated and uncertain, asking God if men like him still existed. And there he was — a steady answer to a whispered prayer.   Now, together they share a cozy home in the heart of North Hollywood, co-parenting their beloved rescue dogs, tending their garden, and hosting friends and family around the firepit — where conversations drift from business plans to faith to laughter that echoes late into the night.  But this story isn’t only about two people falling in love — it’s about two families, two mamas, and two hearts shaped by loyalty, faith, and real life. In their work, they help people clarify what matters most — their values, dreams, and legacy. And when they asked those same questions of each other, they realized their values were perfectly aligned. Because for them, it was never just butterflies and easy days. It was purpose. It was calling. It was two souls on a mission — to love God, to honor and be there for their mothers to support their families, and to build the future their younger selves prayed for with fierce hope. They are each other’s anchor, laughter, and ride-or-die — steady in storms, joyful in sunshine, and grateful in all things. So as they step into forever, they remain committed not only to one another, but to all of you — their family and friends reading this, who have shaped their journey, stood beside them, prayed for them, and believed in them. They carry you with them into this next chapter.
