DFW is the closest airport to Granbury, TX.From DFW Airport, downtown Granbury is about a 1 hour drive. Uber is absolutely reliable, and The Granbury Town Square is very walkable to restaurants, bars, shops, live music, and antique stores! Renting a car is also a convenient option, and can easily be done upon arriving/departing DWF. If you are interested in ride sharing with our other guests traveling into Granbury, please let Charles Salkowski know, and we would be happy to try to link up friends and family interested in splitting a ride.

The Acton Nature Center has easy trails to enjoy a light hike, with an abundance of wildlife, including a bird blind and a butterfly garden. The photo above was taken by Jeff during his first trip to Granbury - the same day he met Laura's parents!

We highly recommend exploring the MANY local Antique stores in Granbury! There are some incredible gems to be found - and they've got gadgets and gizmo's aplenty, they've got whozits and whatzits galore!

Antiquing!

On one of our first weekend getaways together, we went to Fredericksburg, TX. Also known as Texas Wine Country! During this memorable trip together, we stayed at a Villa overlooking Baron's Creek Vineyard. We loved it so much that we returned to Fredericksburg December 2024, this time with both of our parents, to spend Christmas all together, as we prepared for our big move to Mississippi. Baron's Creek has only a few tasting rooms - and one of them just happens to be on the Granbury Town Square! We highly recommend visiting if you get the chance. Laura loves the rose´!
