Our Wedding

Dylan and Laura met while wingman and woman-ing for their friends at Jake's Bar in Columbia, SC. Ever since that night in April, 2018, Dylan and Laura have enjoyed dining, traveling, and exploring side by side.

In August 2023, Dylan proposed to Laura at the Palace of Versailles in France. Laura and Dylan had always wanted to visit France, so Versailles was the perfect location!

For our wedding, we will have blocks at two hotels located in downtown Lynchburg. We will have a shuttle running to and from the *Virginian Hotel to the wedding venue for your ease at 4:00 pm! *If you're staying at the Lynchburg Grand be mindful that the shuttles are running from the Virginian and not from the Lynchburg Grand. The hotels are 0.2 miles from one another. If you are not staying at a hotel downtown, then you will park at Jefferson Forest Highschool and shuttles will bus guests to and from the venue beginning at 4:30 pm.

15 Rooms are Blocked at the Historic Virginian. This is the hotel where the welcome party will be held on Friday May 30th. Call to reserve. The cut off date for reservations is April 15, 2025.

For our active guests, Blackwater Creek trail is located downtown and is an easy, 3-mile trail. We like to walk the trail and then get oysters and a beer at The Water Dog!

The town of Forest (where we live) is named after Thomas Jefferson's summer home, Poplar Forest. For our history buffs, a tour of Poplar Forest is a must! His home is beautiful and boasts beautiful walking trails to explore the property.
