We met! Mark and I met on OKCupid of all places and had our first date at the Hawthorne at the Hotel Commonwealth. Thank goodness Mark forgave my being 20 minutes late or we may not be here today!

Our first trip! For our first Christmas, I got Mark (and Marty!) a trip to Portland, ME. We realized we "vacation" the same way - finding all of the best food and drinks a place has to offer!

Our family gained 3 legs! We drove 30 hours (breakdown: Mark 28 hours, Laura 2 hours with lots of complaining) round-trip in 1 weekend to pick up a new family member - Munchkin! Although others thought adopting a dog was perhaps too big of a step for me at that point in my life, Mark was so supportive of my decision and is one of the many reasons I love him so much.

The trip of a lifetime! Mark and I took our first big vacation together and it was certainly one for the books! We began our trip staying in a beautiful little cabin among the redwood trees in Big Sur, drove up the coast visiting Pebble Beach and the scenic 17-mile drive (stopping about every 3 seconds along the way so I could take millions of pictures), discovered all that San Francisco has to offer (including the meal of a lifetime at a 4-star Michelin restaurant), and finished up our trip in Napa Valley. It was a trip we will never forget!

We're engaged! During an amazing getaway to Aruba with our friends Christina and Marco, Mark surprised me by getting down on one knee on the natural rock bridge during our ATV tour. Once I got over the fear that he was falling off the bridge when he was getting down on one knee, it became the most wonderful moment of our life together (until our wedding day, of course!)

We bought a house! We purchased our first house together in North Easton, MA, and have since been making it a home with love, laughter, and a little paint!

Our big day! We hope the Covid-19 pandemic allows us to safely celebrate our wedding day surrounded by all of our loved ones. Keeping the faith!
