Though considered in Cape May...Historic Cold Spring village is outside the island. Its only a 10-15 minute drive from downtown Cape May and as their website says "Historic Cold Spring Village brings to life the day-to-day activities of villagers living in South Jersey during the "age of homespun." (1789-1840)." Its a cute place to walk around, see some displays and enjoy some delicious baked goods.
If you're headed down the shore and like animals the Cape May zoo is a must. Not only is it FREE, but an incredible zoo that Ray and I think put both the Philly and Pittsburgh zoos to shame.
The Wildwood boardwalk is one of the biggest boardwalks in the country with tons of great rides, games, shops, food and multiple water parks! You can get there from the Wedding hotel in an hour and 15 minutes. Check out the boards and everything else Wildwood has to offer :)
