Our Wedding

Ten years together, and it all started in late 2015 during a winter break shift at Smoothie King. Laura was home from her first semester at Ole Miss, Hunt had just recovered from a football injury, and after a few missed hints (including one very obvious dinner plan), Laura finally asked Hunt to grab food. Our first “date” at Newk’s turned into hours of talking until they closed — and we’ve been inseparable ever since. College, distance, and a whole lot of life happened after that. From Ole Miss football Saturdays and road trips to study sessions and everyday moments, we grew up side by side and built something we always knew was worth holding onto. In 2023, we moved back to Jackson — right where it all began. Then on December 20, 2024, during what Laura thought was a normal day at Elle James Bridal, Hunt surprised her with a proposal, surrounded by the girls who had become family. After helping so many brides say “yes,” it was finally Laura’s turn. Ten years in, and we’re more excited than ever for what’s next. On May 30, 2026, we can’t wait to start our forever — and celebrate with all of you.

Garden Party Formal Attire

One of the things we're most excited about is the atmosphere we're creating at Kennington's Mansion. We're dreaming of an evening that feels like an elegant French garden party - romantic, timeless, and full of joy.

What to wear

For the LadiesThink flowing gowns, elegant silhouettes, and fabrics that feel elevated for an evening of celebration. Floor-length is always a beautiful choice, but a chic midi or romantic mini (like a babydoll style) works perfectly too. We just ask that styles feel formal and polished. For the GentlemenClassic tailoring sets the tone for the evening. A suit is perfect - lightweight tuxedos are welcome but not required. Ties or bow ties are optional, though we encourage polished finishing touches so the overall looks feels refined and celebratory.
