Once upon a time there was a pretty princess who liked music, video games, reading, and anything rainbow. But most of all, she loved Jesus. She was known throughout all the kingdom for using her beautiful voice to sing for Him at His house. She was surrounded by her wonderful family and her kind-heart and clever wit had earned her many friends, but still the princess felt like something was missing. She believed that God had a special gift just for her and so she waited. And waited. And WAITED. For 37 years she waited, sometimes searching and sometimes trying not to lose hope, still she kept waiting for she knew that whatever God had for her would be worth all the waiting. Meanwhile, in a far-off kingdom on the West Coast, a handsome prince who also loved Jesus was growing up playing baseball, honing his chef skills, and building strong muscles through weightlifting, all the while searching for a princess who would go to music festivals and watch anime with him. One day the Singing Princess met another beautiful princess named Cora from down the street and instantly they became best friends. They laughed and talked for hours and knew that their friendship was meant to be. But Princess Cora could see that her friend was lonely in all her waiting, and so she came up with a plan to help. You see, as it turned out, the Weight-Lifting Prince was in fact Princess Cora’s OTHER best friend and she had a feeling they would make each other very happy. But she also knew she had to be careful. So she occasionally planted seeds that she hoped would bloom into a wonderful love story to last the ages. On a visit to the Prince, Princess Cora kept “casually” mentioning her princess friend. The seed successfully planted, after Princess Cora’s trip the Weight-Lifting Prince added the Singing Princess on Facebook. Cleverly the princess asked the prince, “Did we just become best friends?” And he said, “If that’s your speed then, sure.” And they began to talk. And they kept talking until the princess was pretty sure they were flirting when he told her about an Asian salad recipe that he thought she’d enjoy and she said, “I love anything Asian.” and he replied, “I’m Asian.” From that moment on, the two spent every night on FaceTime falling more and more in love. Plenty of plane rides and music festivals later, one day the Singing Princess went to visit the Weight-Lifting Prince’s kingdom and family. The prince did a very good job at tricking the princess into helping him cook a feast for a party that she didn’t know was actually her engagement party. The prince asked her to marry him and join him in his West Coast Kingdom, and she said yes (even though no one heard her because she was overcome and she had to say it again)! And so now with Princess Cora’s seed now blooming, the Singing Princess and the Weight-Lifting Prince invite YOU to join them as they set off on the beginning of their Happily Ever After.
