In 2015, Laura and Brooks started their first year in high school not knowing that they would meet. It began with noticing each other in car line to meeting each other properly at swim team practice. Laura made the first move by asking Brooks for his number….for a friend that is. Brooks knew that she was the one even though Laura tried to set him up with her friend (repeatedly). Finally, they figured out that they were meant to be and the rest is history. Over the last 8 years they have gone through so much together, from never having classes together in high school to long distance for 4 years in college then finally getting to see one another graduate college. They have been through all seasons of life together and are ready for the next chapter. Brooks proposed to Laura on August 12th, 2023 in the flower field they had visited many times before. They are overjoyed and excited to finally be married after so many years.
