Our Wedding

Dominic and Laura were introduced at a Catholic Young Adult social by a mutual friend “because they were both teachers.” They talked for some time there, and Dominic being the observant person that he is, thought to himself, “Huh. This one is a little different.” They attended some of the same movie nights, and Laura started referring to Dominic as a “mystery man” to her sisters. However, it wasn’t God’s timing yet.&nbsp; Then, in the fall of 2019,&nbsp;Dominic just happened to start teaching at the same school as Laura. He maybe started glancing over as Miss Weixelman’s class as they walked pass Mr. Suter’s classroom everyday on the way to recess, and Miss Weixelman maybe noticed Mr. Suter was good with kids. Still, God hadn’t lined all the things up yet. No, it wasn’t until the world had gone crazy in the spring of 2020 that Dominic’s guardian angel gave him the green light to ask Laura on a date after a Sunday Mass in June. By the third date, Laura could see there was something unique about this man and the way they both saw the world.&nbsp;

How It Began

Since then, Laura and Dominic have grown to know and love each other through spending time with family and the ordinary, every day adventures.
