What should I get a couple of old fogies who don't need anything?


Well! Fill our shelves with books and records!
A copy of your favourite book for Laurel and/or a country music vinyl LP for Randy.
Laurel asks that you write in the front of the book why you loved it; Randy likes all country music so you're safe with whatever you can find. Old, new, in between. All good.

What should I wear?


Hopefully it will be a hot summer's day, so up your shorts game and you're set. We're calling it spiffy casual for a backyard bbq.

What time does this shindig start?


Doors open at 3:30 pm
Ceremony at 4:00 pm
Food and fun to follow!

What should I do between the ceremony and the reception?

Hang around! The ceremony is going to be short and be immediately followed by appies in the deck/picnic area.

There will be some pictures taken for posterity and you might be asked to be in them. As well, you could walk around the pond, relax on the patio, or visit with others whilst nibbling on appies and sipping a beverage.
