Our Wedding

We met in the harmonious realm of music, where notes blended and hearts connected. In the Eastern Michigan University Honors Band in early 2018, our paths first crossed. Though our friendship blossomed later, during our college years, it was a connection forged through shared passion and mutual respect. Our love story has been a beautiful melody, filled with unforgettable moments. From the grand elegance of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra to the vibrant energy of the Detroit Jazz Festival, we've explored the world of music together. Countless dates have been spent sharing laughter, love, and delicious meals at our favorite spots like Vincente's, Bomber, and Mootz. And of course, there's nothing quite like cozying up together to watch our favorite films. The engravings on our rings speak volumes about our love. The music note symbolizes the harmonious way we met and our shared aspirations. The Hebrew phrase "Ani l'dodi v'dodi li" encapsulates the deep bond we share. On our second anniversary, I (Noah) planned a special surprise. A scavenger hunt led Laurel to the place where our love story began - the front steps of Pease Auditorium. There, on that fateful afternoon, I asked her to be my partner in every key and tempo, to be the second half of an eternal duet. The celebration continued at our beloved jazz bar, the Willis Show Bar, a fitting end to a perfect day.
