Wedding Reception: Guest parking is available in the Soldiers & Sailors parking garage on Bigelow Boulevard! This is directly adjacent to The University Club. Rates are posted for hourly and full day outside the garage. Full-day rates are currently $15.00. Evening parking after 5:00 PM is available for $5.00. Please note the garage is open from 6:00 AM - 12:00pm midnight. I do encourage guests who are driving to utilize this garage, compared to other nearby parking garages, as this is the closest in proximity the University Club! Pro tip: Consider dropping off ladies in high heals and our elderly at the door prior to parking in the lot!

The closest hotels are The Oaklander Hotel, the Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh University Place, Courtyard Pittsburgh University Center, and The Wyndham in Oakland. Room rates vary between these options! You will find that these are all within Oakland. Of course, there is a wide variety of other hotel options within the Pittsburgh area! Uber is quite accessible in city, so this is a fair option for those that may want to stay in a hotel or AirBnb outside of Oakland.

Yes, there is basement level entry with an elevator for those who are unable to use the steps. Please utilize this option as needed! Staff members will be available to help assist our guests.

Yes, for guests who cannot use the steps, please use the back entrance of the University Club. There is a ramp with handrails, and of course, there will be elevator access for guests to take up to the terrace, as well as the ballroom, as needed.

Wedding ceremony parking is free and will be available for our guests from 1:45pm until 3:45pm on S. Bellefield Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15213. This is immediately adjacent to Heinz Chapel. It allows parking for approximately thirty (30) cars, so carpooling to the ceremony is encouraged for those who can! Alternatively, there is street parking and various parking garages around the Oakland area. Of note, you will see that Heinz Chapel and The University Club are approximately a half mile apart. So, walking between the two locations is an option. For example, you can simply park your car at the Soliders and Sailors garage (adjacent to the University Club/ reception venue) and make the walk between the two venues. This could be a good option for those who like getting their steps in and want to play tourist while in Oakland. The Cathedral of Learning grounds offers a scenic walk!
