Our Wedding

We met in 2017, via the popular app Tinder. Neither one of us were looking for a serious relationship, however once we started talking, we never stopped. We would talk, text, FaceTime, 24/7. Our first date was at Nantasket beach. We went on a random Thursday evening after we both worked all day. Our second date was that Saturday! From the second we first met, it was like we had known each other for years. Despite the challenges we faced living 45 minutes away from each other, we made it work, eventually buying our own house at 22 and 23 in Nashua! Now we have our perfect fur baby Maverick and we could not imagine a life any different.&nbsp; As many of you know, Ryan was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma in November of 2021. After 4 rounds of chemo and 5 long weeks of radiation, Ryan is feeling great. While not quite in remission just yet, we have high hopes.&nbsp;Throughout that process, we both leaned on each other for support. This&nbsp;was a lot for Ryan to take on at just 24 years old. This was a long excruciating process that we conquered together. We both had the realization that life is short and that another day is not guaranteed. We both discovered that we truly are each other's person and can’t imagine doing life without each other. With that being said, we were ready to start our family as soon as possible. We are SO ready to take on anything that life throws at us!

Our Story 

We feel as though this day was so perfect that we need to share the story of how the proposal went! It all started as a normal Saturday morning. Ryan and Lauren did their typical Dunkin' / home depot run and then Ryan told Lauren to pack an overnight bag. Lauren asked a million questions and with no reply from Ryan, she packed a bag said goodbye to baby maverick and hopped in the car. That car ride was the longest ride of Lauren's life and she has absolutely no idea where they driving to. They pulled into a long, bumpy, under construction driveway and Lauren thought "he could totally kill me right now and nobody would know". The overwhelming sound of cows and goats filled Lauren's ears. Instantly she could not contain her excitement as cows are her favorite animal ever, and she has always said since she was younger that she wants to get engaged in a "field of cows". Ryan leads Lauren up a large hill overlooking mountains and "like 12 cows". Lauren sees a baby brown cow named Lily Bell standing on top of this amazing cliff with views of the mountains. *She knew at this time she was getting proposed to* Ryan got down on one knee, and I quote:"Do you like cows? How about a ring? Will you marry me?" Obviously she said yes, and had a mini photo shoot after with a close family friend who captured the day beautifully.It was such a special day for both Lauren and Ryan, but the surprises did not end there. We then drove to Boston to a gorgeous hotel on the water in Seaport, where we met up with all of our friends to celebrate. Ryan took Lauren out to a fancy dinner with both of our immediate families and then hit the town to celebrate like the 23 year olds we are!
