Do I Need ID?
Yes, bartenders will allegedly check IDs for people who look under 30, so have it on you just in case!
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
We are planning to have our ceremony outdoors, weather permitting. If the forecast calls for rain at the time of the ceremony, the ceremony will be moved indoors. Our cocktail hour is split indoors/outdoors. The reception will take place indoors.
Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?
Yes, we will have a shuttle that will make two trips from Best Western to Diamond Mills and two trips back to the Best Western.
Shuttles will be departing Best Western Kingston at 4:30pm and 4:45pm.
Shuttles will be departing from Diamond Mills 11:00pm and 12pm.
What is the dress code for your wedding?
We kindly request our guests to join us in celebrating with formal attire. Floor length gowns for ladies and suits for men.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Due to limited space, a guest will be included on the invitation for those that we can accommodate, otherwise only those listed on the invitation will be included.
If you are given a plus one on your invitation, when you RSVP, please click on the "(Your Name)'s Guest" link to add their full name so that we can address them properly at the table.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
Due to the nature of this event, we regretfully cannot accommodate children.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
We have hired two experienced, VERY talented photographers who we have wholly entrusted with capturing our day, so we kindly request an unplugged ceremony, as well as entrances and first dance. We invite you to be truly present with us during these moments and ask that phones remain out of sight. We will happily share our professional images with you after the wedding. You are welcome to take photos and videos at any other time. This is very important to us and we thank you for your understanding.
Will there be an open bar?
Of course there will be an open bar, we're not monsters!...except for about the cell phone photography thing.
What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?
You may arrive as early as 5:00 and enjoy welcome drinks. Please arrive to the ceremony no later than 5:15 to allow for seating, the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30.
What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?
The reception ends at 11 o'clock, but the party will continue until 12am at the venue! There will be more alcohol and some light bites!
Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?
Please make Jon or Lauren aware of any dietary restriction you may have when you RSVP.
