The Brasstown Valley Golf Course offers full practice options, a well-equipped Pro Shop, and customized special tournaments. Golf lessons and clinics are also available through the Blue Ridge Mountain golf resort’s Director of Golf and PGA Professional, Steve Phelps.

Just three miles north of the quaint college town of Young Harris in the shadow of Brasstown Bald, the state’s highest peak. On our family owned & operated vineyard, we offer two distinct tasting room locations, each with their own hours and offerings: the Stone House Tasting Room, and the Farmhouse Market.

Enjoy their 9.2-miles of wilderness trails! Miller Trek is a journey that begins at Brasstown Valley Resort and takes you into the Chattahoochee National Forest. Along the way you will encounter Hardwood Forest that contains Tuliptree, Red Maple, White Oak and Black Locust trees. Approximately 10-15% of the Trail is located in a clear-cut, which shows how quickly a clear-cut will regenerate new growth and provide new habitat for wildlife.

As you travel along the trail you will see a variety of flowering plants, which range in variety as the elevation changes from 2000-feet to the trails highest point of 3200-feet above sea level. Also along the trail be sure to keep your eye out for some of the many types of wildlife who live in the forest such as the White Tailed Deer, Red and Gray Fox, Flying Squirrels and Black Bears. The 6.5-mile trail is blazed in blue/green and has a 2.5-mile loop for those hikers who are not looking for a lengthy hike. These will bring you back to Brasstown Valley Resort any direction you travel. Please abide by the rule of always staying on the trail's path, which will ensure minimal on the forest resources and for your safety.

The Stables at Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa establishes the property as the only full-service resort and conference hotel in the North Georgia Mountains to offer guests a horseback trail-riding experience.

Featuring five miles of trails, the Stables primarily offers one- and two-hour guided mountain trail rides, accommodating all experience levels, from beginner to advanced. Guests can meander through open fields, hardwood forests and crystal-clear trout streams as they travel throughout the property. Custom excursions, hayrides and catered picnic rides also are available for both individual and group outings.

For guests ages seven-years-old and younger, the Stables offer hand led horseback rides in the facility’s riding ring. The 1,200 square-feet Facility is perfect for both individual leisure guests and larger organized groups, and is open to both resort guests and the general public.
