Bearly Beginning Nursery School, 1992, is where it all began. We were preschool classmates, made some art, and ate some snacks together. While we may not have clear memories of this time, the pictures do prove it!

We mainly remember being on the same soccer team in 1995, coached by the one and only Frank Berry. We grew up down the street from each other, riding the bus every day to school until high school. Bryan was a grade older, so we parted ways around that time. Lauren went to college, and Bryan started working, so they didn't reunite until Lauren started working at Mr. Dooley's the summer of her senior year. When Lauren moved back to Wrentham, they started to see more of each other, but did not start officially dating until December 8, 2017.

The Engagement

With COVID19 ruining any travel plans we had, we decided to take a week down the Cape, splitting time between Falmouth with Lauren's parents and Dennis with Bryan's parents. On Tuesday, July 28th, we left Falmouth and drove to Dennis for the remainder of the week. We spent some time at the beach and then went back to the house to cook dinner for the everyone at the house. We were waiting for the Cady's to join us, but texted us to tell us they were held up and to eat dinner, and potentially go to sunset, without them. Jess mentioned that she was going to get some ice cream and watch sunset at a different beach with their cousin Meghan, but little did Lauren know, Jess and Meghan were setting up a spot at the beach for us. As we were waiting for the Cady's, we got a text saying that they were going to be even later and to go on without them. Bryan asked if Lauren wanted to go for a walk on the beach before sunset, so off they went. They walked down Bayview Beach, down Mayflower Beach, and happened upon a roped off, private area of the beach. Lauren stopped and asked if we should turn around, not realizing that the blanket, roses, candles, and bucket with prosecco on the beach was for them. Bryan told her that they should go under the rope, and that's when Lauren realized what was about to happen. We went under the rope and Bryan dropped to one knee and asked Lauren to marry him. Once Lauren stopped crying, she realized that Jess and Meghan had set it all up and were also taking photos and videos for them! After calling Gram and Lauren's parents and sister, they went back to the house to celebrate.
