Our Story

Since their time together at Clemson, Paul and Lauren's love story has been full of memorable adventures. Whether it is traveling to new places or bearing through an unprecedented pandemic together, their relationship is rarely boring and they make the ultimate team. In their free time together, they enjoy game nights, hosting friends and family, seeing live music, and spending quality time with their beloved pups, Lucy and Sullivan. March 03, 1996

Paul Joseph Giancarli was born on March 3rd, 1996 in Hamilton, NJ and is the youngest of three boys.

December 06, 1996

Lauren Elizabeth Bigham was born on December 6th, 1996 in Rock Hill, SC and is the youngest of three girls.

June 08, 2014

Paul graduated from Notre Dame High School in 2014 and moved to SC to attend Clemson.

June 06, 2015

Lauren graduated from Northwestern High School in 2015 and then began her time at Clemson.

February 27, 2016

Paul and Lauren met briefly for the first time at a Clemson fraternity mountain weekend in Boone, NC.

August 22, 2018

Fall 2018 Semester begins at Clemson. They have an Industrial Engineering class together in Freeman Hall and sit at the same table due to mutual friends. Towards the end of the semester, they realized they had another class together the next semester, so Paul got Lauren's phone number to continue their studies together outside of class.

February 19, 2019

They started hanging out frequently to do homework. While studying one evening, they took a break to get some dinner at Osaka Express. Paul paid for Lauren's food for the first time and caught her off guard...this turned into their first date.

March 15, 2019

They made it official on Friday, March 15th, and took their first picture together not long after that with the Tiger and National Championship trophy while walking home from class one day.

April 05, 2019

Paul was Lauren's date to her last Sorority Formal.

April 06, 2019

First Clemson Football game together (kind of...it was the Spring Game).

May 09, 2019

College Graduation! They also met each other's parents for the first time this week.

May 20, 2019

Lauren and Paul walked through Lover's Lane in Clemson. Campus legend is that couples who walk hand-in-hand through President’s Park will marry.
