Their love story started when Lauren and Giuseppe (Joe) first crossed paths in 2007, but it wasn't until two years later, in 2009, that they truly connected. One summer night at Oasis Cafe, fate brought them together again, and they spent the evening talking and getting to know each other. Lauren couldn't help but fall for Joe instantly, though she tried to play it cool. Joe found himself drawn to Lauren, captivated by her smile and the way her laughter filled his heart with joy as she told him all about her summer camp adventures. His love was deepening for her with each passing moment. Soon after, they exchanged texts and became inseparable.

One chilly December night in 2009, despite battling a cold, Lauren agreed to go out for a bit with Joe. They ended up at Fort Totten, overlooking the water, where Joe asked her to be his girlfriend. Their love grew through the ups and downs of high school, college, and law school. One of their most cherished memories was traveling Italy together. They will never forget wine tasting in Tuscany and getting lost in Venice.

Throughout high school, college, law school, a pandemic, and facing the workforce together, their love continued to grow. On a sunny afternoon in January, Joe surprised Lauren with a rooftop proposal in New York City. Joe had the rooftop decorated with pictures of their most cherished memories throughout the years, surrounded by rose petals- as well as a private photographer! Overwhelmed with emotion, Lauren tearfully accepted joe's proposal, and they celebrated the rest of the night just the two of them and later with family and drinks!

Now, they eagerly look forward to the next chapter of their journey, counting down to their wedding on June 29, 2024, the year which marks the celebration of their 15 years together.
