We went on our very first date to District Tavern and Splitsville in downtown Tampa in September of 2022. A few amazing dates later, we officially became boyfriend and girlfriend. Many weekends our first year of dating were spent exploring the local area, traveling to fun places like Disney, and supporting each other during tough school semesters (as Kyle was a 3rd year medical student and Lauren had just started her master's degree). Time continued to fly by and before we knew it, we had spent a whole wonderful year together! Our 1st anniversary in 2023 was nothing short of special, and we discussed how excited we were for so many more future anniversaries. In 2024 we celebrated graduations. Lauren graduated with her Master of Science in Tourism from UF, and Kyle graduated from USF Morsani College of Medicine. Watching Kyle match into his top choice residency program is still one of Lauren's favorite memories! We then moved in together in April of 2024, and have enjoyed each moment of sharing a space and creating a home. In the year leading up to our engagement, we've made so many new friends through Kyle's residency and have grown stronger as a couple. In March of 2025, Kyle proposed on the white sands of Clearwater Beach. We are so excited for the future ahead, and to celebrate our wedding on the same beach in 2026!
