The beautiful Cartmel Priory is located in the heart of Cartmel village, where parking is limited. You may be lucky enough to find a space on the streets of Cartmel, but failing this and in the interests of saving time, there is ample car parking at the nearby Racecourse LA11 6QF (0.1 miles away).

Please head straight to Holker Hall after the ceremony. Holker is located approximately 2.5 miles away from the church and although some of you may think walking is an option, it is not advisable!

For those of you who are driving between venues please use the parking facilities at the Holker Hall Estate, LA11 7PL. There will be an area sectioned off for the wedding. You can leave your cars parked safely over night at Holker. The gates will open again on Sunday at 10:30am.

For those not driving, it is advisable to pre book taxis. Taxis are limited in the area, so sharing is advised! (see below for recommendations and contact details).

The drinks reception will be held in the beautiful formal gardens of Holker Hall. If, true to Lauren's luck, it rains, we will host the drinks reception inside Holker Hall. Following this, the wedding breakfast will be in a marquee located within the grounds.

We will add further details about the menu nearer the time. As previously mentioned please do let us know well in advance if you have any dietary requirements. This can be done in the RSVP section.

Carriages are at midnight. There will be a coach arranged, leaving at midnight, which will do two round trips, dropping off at central locations in Cark and Cartmel and then head to the Uplands Hotel. Please can you let us know if you would like to be included in the coach transfer by adding details of where you are staying (include postcode please) in the online RSVP section. This will enable us to coordinate which coach transfer you need to take.
