Jake and Lauren spent some time being just friends while focusing on their personal faith and spiritual journey with God!

Jake got Lauren a plant for her birthday and that convinced her he really liked her! They texted, called and saw each other at church, even went to a soccer game with friends and took their first selfie!

Jake made it official and asked Lauren out at her favorite Italian restaurant- Forno!

Their friends came and celebrated!

Best day ever! Lauren was asking lots of questions to get information about Jake’s plan. But that didn’t stop him for doing everything he could to keep her on her toes!

Jake took Lauren downtown to their favorite market for lunch - and then to a park to eat! He had a film camera to take Lauren’s photo in front of some flowers! Except when Jake got down on his knee to take the picture, he didn’t get up and switched the camera for a ring! Lauren heard the clicking of their photographer/bestie taking photos! It was real, he asked and she said yes! ♡
