Ceremony

The ceremony will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. There is little parking available around the church, so we suggest walking if possible. It is about a 10 min walk from Oak Street Plaza where the Camel's Garden Hotel and the gondola station are located. Another option is to use The Galloping Goose, a free bus service, which makes frequent 20-min loops through the main town. See the Transportation in Telluride page for bus information.

Reception

When traveling to the reception location at The Peaks, take the gondola past the San Sophia station to the Mountain Village Station. The free gondola is a unique feature of Telluride, connecting the two towns with a stop at the San Sophia Ridge in between. The gondola runs continuously between 7am to midnight, and provides 360 degree panoramic views along the way. The entire trip is about 13 minutes. Once exiting at the Mountain Village Station, The Peaks is approximately a 5 min walk through the Sunset Plaza.

Important Information

Although it is not officially monsoon season yet, afternoon thunderstorms are common in the mountains. Please check the weather before and be prepared for possible rain.

Telluride is at 8,750 ft and the Mountain Village is at 9,500 ft. It will be important to be prepared for the potential effects of altitude by wearing sunscreen and drinking plenty of water. On the other hand, it gets cold at night, so please bring a bring a shawl or a jacket for the return. Temperatures can drop up to 30 degrees as the sun goes down (8:30 pm)!
