We met summer of 2020 at Woodstock Club teaching junior golf together. We instantly hit it off and begin hanging out throughout that summer, sharing our love for golf, Chick-fil-A & watching lots of “The Office!” Our first date was, of course, a golf date (although I don’t think either one of us knew if it was a date or not!) By the end of summer we decided we were not going to make things “official” because Lauren would be going back to Anderson University for her sophomore year & Conner would be going back to Indiana University for his senior year.

Clearly, we didn’t stick to that decision! September 12, 2020 we made our relationship “official” and begin driving an hour & a half to visit each other at our colleges every other weekend!

May 2021, Conner graduated from IU and moved to Chicago for his job with KPMG. Lauren still had two more years of college. We took turns over next two years driving over 4 hours to visit each other!

In May of 2023 Lauren graduated from college and started teaching in the Westfield school system! November 2023, Conner finally moved back to Carmel ending long distance for good!

January 6, 2024 Conner proposed on a surprise date! We got to celebrate with all of our family & friends.
