We met through an online dating app (I was told not to say which one). We talked for a few weeks and Lauren gave me her number and offered to go out on a date. Apparently I took too long to ask. We tried going to Raymond’s Bowl in Johnsburg for our first date but the lanes were full. So we changed locations and went to Lakes Bowl in Round Lake. Lauren’s mom was freaking out about that. Her pool game was not great and neither was her bowling but we both still enjoyed it. There was never an awkward moment and the best part was, we talked about anything and everything so easily. Me being an introvert, I opened up pretty fast and felt so comfortable doing so. Since the first date went well, a second date was absolutely necessary. I brought her chocolate covered strawberries because those are her favorite. We went to Dave N Busters and ice cream. Everything fell into place and the feelings came fast. Before I knew it, she had the keys to my apartment. There was no getting rid of me at that point. After spending all the time together, going on various dates, and texting novels through the phone, we knew we were right for each other. We have the same work ethic, mind set, and goals in life. We compliment each other so well. Life has just seemed so perfect since falling in love with each other.
