Our Wedding

Joe and Lauren, like all kids these days, found each other on the internet on an app called bumble. Over the course of 5 years we have moved into two houses and have been happy together with our two dogs, Billy and Bluey. Joe is a smarty-pants engineer and Lauren is venturing into health sciences and loves coaching lacrosse. Our engagement was a magical thing and happened in Florida at Universal Studios. Joe planned the whole thing and got down at one knee at a photo shoot in Dagon Alley. Taken by surprise, Lauren said yes!

The Kensington Hotel is right off of State Street among a huge shopping center. We would love for you to stay, get comfortable and have a wonderful time with us. We have prepared a Block of 20 rooms, The Kensington will provide more if needed. If this hotel is not your style, there are many other hotels and lodging in the area.Booking via phone: Mention “Cole &amp; Shaffer Wedding” Ceremony will be outside on their Courtyard Pergola at 4pm. Cocktails should start around 4:45. Dinner and Reception will be in their Grand Ballroom Room. This should start around 6pm. Can't wait to see you all there and please travel safely!
