Lauren and Luke first met at a mutual friend's bonfire. They became friends and started talking on a daily basis.

Luke asked Lauren to be his girlfriend and the adventure began!

Lauren told Luke that she loved him for the first time while stargazing in northern Minnesota (don't worry, he said it back)!

They graduated high school and began their college careers, Luke studying finance and entrepreneurship in Mankato and Lauren studying genetics, cell biology, and development in Minneapolis.

Over the next four years in college, their relationship deepened—not only with each other but also in their faith in Christ. Together, they built a strong and enduring foundation, grounded in love, trust, and faith.

The proposal! Luke took Lauren for a walk in the woods, where he had set up a lakeside picnic with roses, candles, and champagne to pop the question. Afterwards, she was surprised by all of their family and friends who had been waiting in a nearby pavilion to celebrate with them.
