Colt and I's story starts back in October of 2022. He had found me online and messaged me, but I did not responded till months later. I had just graduated from OSU (go pokes!) and was not really looking for anything serious but Colt was persistent. We started off just making small talk over text messages and he eventually asked me out to dinner. I said yes but they day of our date I chickened out and made some excuse that I had already made prior commitments with some friends. Most guys would have gotten mad and flaked, but Colt stuck around. Eventually I finally caved and we went on our first date to dinner at On The Border. We stayed there for hours just talking and laughing and the manager let us stay as long as we wanted even after the restaurant had already closed. I knew something was different about this guy because he laughed at the jokes I made about my dad having pneumonia. After our first date we talked on the phone for hours and then it was time for Colt to meet my dog Bailey. If Bailey didn't like Colt than it was a no deal for me, but when she met Colt it was like love at first sight. She immediately became attached to Colt and to this day I still say that Colt is only with me because of Bailey. We started dating in February of 2023 and after many months together Colt asked me to marry him in November
