Travel & Hotels

About 25 minutes north of Kennebunkport you'll find Old Orchard Beach. Here you can enjoy the beautiful coastline of Maine, the famous Old Orchard Pier, and local east coast seafood!

Old Orchard Pier

This famously photographed lighthouse was built in 1879 on a tiny, off-shore island, or 'nubble,' in York. It features a Victorian keeper's house with gingerbread trim and a lantern with miniature cast-iron lighthouses on its railing. The town of York also offers great restaurants and waterfront views.

York Beach

The Mount Agamenticus Conservation Region consists of more than 10,000 acres and is located within an additional 30,000 acre expanse of conservation land in southern Maine.&nbsp;This land is comprised of a rich and unique coastal forest that supports the highest diversity of animal and plant species in all of Maine. The mountain and the surrounding area provides an ideal location for hiking, biking and sightseeing.&nbsp;

Mount Agamenticus 

Portsmouth is a New Hampshire port city on the Piscataqua River. Notable 17th- and 18th-century houses include several within Strawbery Banke Museum, where costumed staff demonstrate traditional crafts. Nearby, the 1855 North Church presides over downtown’s Market Square. Prescott Park has riverside gardens and boat docks. Northwest, former research submarine USS Albacore is in a park, alongside a visitor center.
